PeoplePicker Port Tester v1.0

PeoplePicker Port Tester v1.0 has been released. This includes a few functionality changes and performance enhances. The PeoplePicker Port Tester is designed to be run from SharePoint 2010 or 2013 servers in order to validate that the PeoplePicker will function when Active Directory or other LDAP-based directories reside across firewalls, subnets, VLANs, or other complex network configurations.

Release highlights include:

  • Test are now run in parallel
  • Application is now multi-threaded so tests don’t freeze the UI
  • Save Output functionality so tests can be recorded to a formatted text file
